The Department of Automobile Engineering was started during the academic year 2009-2010 offering B.E degree programme in Automobile Engineering with sanctioned intake of 65. The department of Automobile engineering has been established with a vision to achieve excellence in the field of automobile & educate students in the area of automobile engineering that will meet the need of an industry.
Automobile Engineering covers the entire manoeuvre of vehicle development from the design stage to the manufacture, maintenance and service of automobiles. In recent era, with the rapid expansion of the automobile industry in India, there is a growing need for trained professionals to design, develop, manufacture, and repair automobiles. The program trains students to meet the technical challenges and diverse needs of the industry and society in various areas of automobile engineering and equips them of having excellence in a truly competitive industry.
